Can one eat meat and still realize God?

Assertion:

“I highly disagree that one who eats meat can never be holy. I myself am a vegan, and living in Western Canadian society; I could as equally say that one who eats milk and eggs are continuing the torture of cows and chickens and contributing to bad karma.”

There are many, many people who eat meat but still have good intentions and do good deeds. The fact that they still eat meat is usually just a matter of Ignorance. Most of them do not know any better. Those who do know better but don’t do better are either cruel-hearted or just plain lazy.

Being a vegetarian is the natural and healthy way to live.
